It's officially begun. Matt has begun to feel the awful side effects of the Melphalan and most of the
time, he's unable to get out of bed. The Melphalan is very hard on his GI track so he has a lot of nausea and fatigue. They are giving him anti-nausea meds around the clock which seem to help make him comfortable enough to sleep. They said to expect this nausea to last for about the next week.
He's not feeling well enough to check his phone very often, so please feel free to send cards so that we can hang them in his room. That way when he does open his eyes, he can see all his love and support right there in front of him.
Thank you so much for your continued support!
All my love,
Mandy
PS - You're going to start seeing a lot more pictures of "things" as I attempt to document this journey while protecting our privacy when Matt's not feeling great.
